Ruth Swain recently joined the City to broaden West Richland's economic development program.  She has received numerous national and regional marketing awards and we are pleased to welcome her.

Ruth has provided consulting and marketing services for organizations including the Tri-City Development Council, CBC Foundation, the Tri-City Visitor & Convention Bureau, and Washing State University Tri-Cities.

The Program Focus

The City of West Richland Economic Development Program is focused on maintaining and enhancing the economic vitality of the city.  The program provides this by supporting and implementing economic policies and programs listed in the Comprehensive Plan including:

• Providing promt access to information important to economic activity.
• Facilitating economic activity in commercial areas through public/private partnerships.
• Fostering emergine businesses.

Facilitating private efforts to implement state-of-the-aret technology.
