Streets
Keene Road Beautification Project: In 2006 the City of West Richland obtained a Federal Transportation Enhancement Grant of $293,000 for the Keene Road Pathway and Beautification Project. This project will improve both the appearance and mobility of the Keene Road corridor for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists.
Phase 1 - Block Landscaping Wall along the south side of Keene Road (between Kennedy and Bombing Range Road) - Completed in 2007.
Phase 2 - Landscaping the Round-a-Bout at Bombing Range Road and Keene Road and a 12-foot asphalt pathway from the Bombing Range Road Round-a-Bout and South Highland Boulevard - Completed in 2008
Phase 3 - Consist of the installation of a City Entrance Sign - Installed Spring of 2008.
Parks
Sports Complex – Little League Field: to be complete for the 2008 Little League Season. This project consisted of a new 4th little league field at the Bombing Range Sports Complex. This project was possible by the many volunteers and donation by our local community.
Water
Candy Mountain Reservoir: Completed in 2008.
Sewer
North Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion: Currently under construction
